OVERVIEWHendall is hiring flexible part-time Survey Research Interviewers. Primary responsibility is data collection by conducting structured telephone surveys and entering participant responses into a computer assisted telephone interviewing (CATI) system. Survey interviews are conducted with Medicare recipients in English, Spanish, Mandarin, and Cantonese. The pay rate will be $16.00 to $22.00 per hour. Paid training is provided.DUTIESDeliver scripted multiple-choice questions over the telephone utilizing outbound call management technology Accurately record responses using a CATI systemDuring each survey interview, positively engage with members of the public and remain neutral and unbiased regarding their responsesRespond accurately to caller questions or concernsComplete all training activities Follow written communication scripts and project protocolUtilize refusal avoidance techniques to ensure each survey is completedMaintain standards for quality and productionBe receptive and quick to implement constructive feedback MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSCandidates must have a bachelor's degree or at least 4 years' work experience to be considered Candidate must be fluent in reading and writing in Cantonese andor Mandarin Demonstrated verbal, written and interpersonal communication skillsDemonstrated active listening skills and the ability to navigate the survey system while accurately entering dataClear and professional telephone speaking voice and ability to read accurately from a scriptAppropriately address questions or issues presented during calls using protocol Computer literacy skills including keyboard skills, ability to enter data accurately, and basic troubleshooting for using and accessing computer systems Ability to work set schedule to meet project objectives which includes a minimum of 20 hours during the calling effortAbility to read scripted questions and responses verbatimPrior experience as a survey research interviewer strongly preferredPrevious experience collecting and recording data over the phone or in personExperience working with MS Office products, such as MS Teams, Word, and ExcelHendall Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
