Job DescriptionYour Role:As a member of Invesco's Wealth Management Platform (WMP) team, an Associate Director of Investment Due Diligence is responsible for elevating Invesco's platform relevance, supporting and defending current product placements, building broader awareness of Invesco's capabilities, and sharing Invesco's thought leadership. Key to success is establishing deep relationships and pursuing a tailored client service experience with home office research professionals (gatekeepers, professional buyers) at wealth management firms with the primary goal of increasing Invesco's presence on Recommended Lists and in Models. The team strives to be the industry's leading home office engagement team that meaningfully exceeds client expectations by redefining the role of strategic partners. The role requires a high level of investment acumen to 1) engage with investment teams, 2) develop and maintain a deep understanding of Invesco's broad product range across asset classes and vehicles (mutual funds, ETFs, SMAs, etc.) and 3) differentiate the product range relative to leading peers on client platforms.You will be responsible for:Supporting all aspects of the research engagement through high-level interaction regarding all investment related matters as well as Invesco organizational or investment team updates.Delivering top tier client service by being highly responsive and ensuring timely completion of requests, coordinating portfolio review meetings with investment teams.Be proactive in outreach with new investment ideas, thought leadership, and other value-added information.Establishing a strategic approach to developing deeper relationships and identifying areas of growth (new partnerships) to build a continuous pipeline of opportunities.Monitoring platform-level trends and opportunities within the competitive landscape products to strategically position Invesco's firm's product line.Obtaining and sharing feedback with investment teams and Strategic Account Managers on any changes in investment views, demands from their clients, and industry trends.Support and engage other members of the Investment Due Diligence team and Strategic Account Managers to effectively communicate platform updates and development opportunities.The experience you bring:Minimum of 3 years experience in wholesaling, consultative sales or research-related sales experience selling to wealth management advisors, firms or related platforms.Experience marketing investment products to institutional-type buyers or engaging with financial advisors.A proven ability to support key relationship, as well as build relationships independently.A results-oriented mindset with a natural sense of urgency in pursuing opportunities.Strong communication (written and oral) skills.Excellent interpersonal and organization skills.Highly proficient in software applications, including Microsoft Office; experience with Morningstar Direct and FactSet a plus.Highly motivated, seeking excellence with the quality of their work and engagement with clients and internal tellectually curious about investment markets and the broader assetwealth management business.Demonstrates good judgment.High level of financial (investment) acumen, work towards MBA, CFA, CAIA or CIMA preferred.FINRA Series 7 and 66 required or must achieve registrations in a short period of time of hire.Ability to travel domestically up to 33% of the timeThe salary range for this position in New York City is $100,000 to $125,000 year.
