The role will also identify new opportunities to drive continuous improvements to the lines, machine centers, processes and asset reliability in general.What you will Do:Ensure compliance with safety and food safety guidelinesTroubleshoot, service and fix the computerized systems and automated devicesPerform routing diagnostic checks on automated systemsMonitor automated systems, isolate problems and perform repairsDrive continuous improvement on the performance of the assets and controls in generalAnalyzing needs and product requirements to create a program designProvide feedback on new capital projects to align with current controls and automationAssist with integration and automation of new equipment in plantDevelop new automation processesConducts continuous improvement studies through automation design, cost benefit analysis and maintenanceAssist in training employees with complex machine centersThis position must be able to backfill maintenance, supervisory and facilities duties in the event that it is needed.Performs other related duties as assignedMinimum Qualifications:High school diploma or GEDPhysically able to repeatedly lift 40-pound cases of productUniversity, College roboticengineering technology, or five years relatedExperience in manufacturing with training in PLC programmingDetail oriented with excellent organizational skills and verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work effectively with other departments and with external suppliersProficient in Ladder and Block LogicExperience with CMMS systemsBasic computer operations and Microsoft Office and Google Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Sheets, Docs, Gmail)
