Job DescriptionJob Description Summary:As a Senior Associate in Portfolio Management, you will play a key role in managing and overseeing Invesco's public non-listed REIT, INREIT. This includes supporting investment initiatives, enhancing asset performance, managing risk, and providing insightful analyses to optimize returns. The role demands proactive investment management, collaboration with internal teams, and active participation in decision-making. Strong skills in balance sheet management, financial modeling, performance analysis, stakeholder communication, and project management are essential. You will also provide analytical support, participate in valuations, and assist in creating presentations and reports.Key Responsibilities:- Portfolio Strategy: Assist the portfolio management team in tracking investment objectives, both at the asset and fund level. Responsibilities will encompass evaluating how new and existing investments are contributing to fund performance, allocation and risk management goals.- Valuations: Assist in the monthly valuation process of real estate assets, including valuation forecasts, review of external appraisals, and coordination with Invesco investment team members.- Performance Monitoring and Analysis: Monitor investment performance against expectations, prepare periodic reports, and provide strategic recommendations on business plans. Additionally, review benchmark performance and assist with attribution and relative performance analysis for the fund.- Fund Modeling: Coordinate with fund operations to ensure real time accuracy of fund models including portfolio dashboards, debt databases, and liquidity forecasts. Run model projections and sensitivities to assess fund performance, covenants, and valuations.- Cross-functional Collaboration: Engage with Operations, Accounting, Legal, and Product Management teams to ensure seamless integration of portfolio activities and reporting.- Board and Client Communications: Take leadership role in creating board materials, enhancing client pitch materials, and assisting Client Portfolio Managers (CPMs) with portfolio reporting and pitches. Ensure the accuracy and relevance of all materials presented to stakeholders.Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, Accounting or related field; Master's degree or professional certifications (CFA, CPA, CAIA) a plus.- At least 4 years of experience in real estate investment management, investment banking, corporate finance or other related function.- Expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and ExcelPowerpoint. Experience with Argus, or similar financial modeling tools, is a plus.- Strong analytical, organizational, and multitasking skills to manage and prioritize multiple projects.- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with stakeholders and lead cross-functional initiatives.The salary range for this position in New York is $125,000 - $150,000 annually.
