SummaryOperates and maintain CNC equipment. As a CNC Swiss programmer, you will be responsible for reading and interpreting technical blueprints, inputting the design specifications, adjusting the machine cutting paths, and performing quality checks on the final product. You may also be required to troubleshoot any machine issues that arise during the manufacturing process.$3000 sign on bonus! Generous 401k match.Primary ResponsibilitiesReads and interprets technical drawings and CAD model for programmingUses CAM Software to program new and existing parts to optimize tool cutting pathImplements and maintains set up sheets for ManufacturingValidates the NC code generated from the CNC programDesigns fixtureswork holding fixture for machining partsCollaborates with Engineering, set-up techs, and Machinists on new product Introduction and continuous improvement activitiesTroubleshoots and resolves programming and machining problems as they arise.Assists Engineering Manufacturing Quoting as neededQualificationsHigh school diploma or GED.A minimum of one year's experience as a CNC Swiss programmerMust be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident, due to contractual requirementsPreferred QualificationsAbility to read and interpret design blueprintsExtensive experience with computer modeling softwareUnderstanding of the different tooling types, speeds, and feedsExperience with Gibbs Cam andor PartMakerExperience working for a contract manufacturerStrong attention to detailAbility to work independently and stick to a deadlinePhysical Demands and Work Environment:While performing the duties of this job, continuous mental and visual attention is needed. The ability to stand for a shift, sit, talk and hear is frequently required. Lifting up to 40 pounds is required.
