The 80th Street Residence is seeking an LPN to join our team! We have an immediate need for Night Shift and Day ShiftHourly: $40-45 per hour hour with a $1,000 incentive bonus after 6 monthsResponsibilities:Collaborate with Wellness Team and coworkers to create and maintain best Resident Care Assist Residents with the self administration of all medications and treatmentsDo regular rounds of all floors to assure overall well being of ResidentsMonitor and report changes in Residents' symptoms or behavior to appropriate team membersCommunicate with Coworkers, Care Managers, Physicians and Families to best provide careSupervise Care Managers (HHAs) working throughout the buildingDocument carefully in Resident Charts to ensure proper communicationBecome familiar with NYS DOH Regulations for licensed Assisted Living Residence with Certifications for Special Needs and Enhanced Care Provide assistance and emotional support to Residents, their Families and Coworkers Recognize the possible need to work extended shift during an emergencyQualifications:Previous experience in assisted living or nursing home vitalFamiliarity with use of medication software and equipment Ability and desire to connect with Residents with dementia Strong problem solving and critical thinking skillsAbility to thrive in a fast-paced environmentGood people skills, patience and compassion to work well with Residents, Families and CoworkersWillingness to collaborate with coworkers to discover best methodsOpenness to new methods and training Compensation: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour We've made it this far...here's the reasonBack in 1999, something extraordinary happened in New York City.
