We're hiring a paralegal to assist our legal team in preparing legal documents, filing motions and applications, coordinating law office activity, and conducting legal research. We seek an intelligent, self-driven, people-friendly, dedicated, highly organized, and detail-oriented Immigration Law Paralegal with 3 or more years of experience who is excited to become part of our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background and ample experience in immigration law, and be able to provide exceptional support to our attorneys and clients. If this sounds like a job you'll love, please apply.Responsibilities•Preparing USCIS application forms and memorandum in support of filings before the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, for immigrant and non-immigrant visas•Conduct legal research and analysis related to immigration law, including researching and interpreting relevant statutes, regulations, and case law.•Prepare and review legal documents, including petitions, applications, pleadings, legal briefs, and other filings, to ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.•Assist attorneys in preparing for hearings and trials, including preparing exhibits, conducting witness interviews, gathering evidence, assisting with client meetings, and filing motions.•Hold client interviews to gather information about their legal problems.•Manage, and organize immigration cases, including tracking deadlines, maintaining case files, and communicating with clients and other parties.•Perform other administrative duties as needed, to support the attorneys and the immigration practice.Qualifications•Strong knowledge of immigration law and relevant regulations and statutes.•Minimum of 3 years of immigration law-related work experience under the supervision of a licensed attorney or in a law firm setting.•Extensive knowledge of visa, permanent residency, and secondary benefit applications and substantial experience in preparing such petition packages.•Excellent legal research and analysis skills.•Ability to prepare and review legal documents accurately and efficiently.•Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.•Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.•Experience with legal case management systems and software is a plus.•Candidates should possess high-level organizational skills, and time-management skills•Candidates must have completed an ABA-approved paralegal certificate program such as an Associate's degree or proprietary school program in paralegal studies, Bachelor's degree preferred
