Role Overview This hands-on position is responsible for inspecting, servicing, repairing, and troubleshooting aircraft airframe and structures systems, composites, and components.Key Responsibilities Support structural repair and modification projectsInterpret and read aircraft blueprintsmodification drawingsAccept ownership of assigned structural projectsFollow all policies and procedures including the Quality Control Manual for Elliott Aviation.Ensure safety and security of customer equipment, parts, and aircraft during all structural repair and modification phasesRecord and maintain accurate and timely aircraft and project documentationMaintain safe and clean work environmentSupport, maintain, and comply with all Federal, OSHA, State and local regulations, and Elliott Aviation's Environmental, Health, and Safety Policies and ProcessesPerforms other duties as assigned.Qualifications Ability to attain & retain AOA badge or Airport requirementsHigh school graduate or equivalency degree requiredAbility to obtain designation as an Elliott Aviation Production Inspector (Blue Stamp)Thorough knowledge and understanding of FARs 43, 65, 91, 135, 1452 years of Aircraft maintenance experience with emphasis on Structural Repair and ModificationsLicenses: Airframe & Powerplant Certificate preferredFAA Inspection Authorization preferredSkills and Competencies: Willingness to work on a team with both experienced technicians and mentor junior technicians with a calm demeanor.Willingness to learn by taking guidance from othersAbility to communicate well in straightforward situationsOrganizational skills and attention to detailAbility to maintain a safe and clean work environmentMust possess excellent mechanical aptitude and a desire to workSalary & Benefits Wage Scale:The wage scale for this position ranges from $22.00 to $44.00 per hour, based on experience, qualifications and performance.
