(?formID=16341e35-cbc6-4904-88a3-09b35763307e)Position DescriptionUnder the direction of the Assistant Director within the Office of Graduate Education, this individual will divide their time between program management, student management, financial reporting and admissions for the Master of Science in Clinical Research.Specific responsibilities include:AdmissionsThis role will coordinate efforts across units to ensure successful program launches in the start of each admissions cycle. Collaborate with faculty on enrollment data and information. Prepare and send communications to students and monitor questions sent to program inboxes. Score incoming applications and schedule interviews with Program Directors, Alumni and participate in the interview. Organize and facilitate Admissions Committee and send out decision municate student numbers to Leadership. Update databases as needed and prepare visa documents. Monitor the student information system to ensure students are successfully onboarded to HMS. Program Management Serves as primary course coordinator, planning and scheduling class sessions, coordinating content with the master's team, and as acting as liaison for internal and external constituencies, including students, faculty, teaching assistants, and administration. Regularly maintains and manages the program gradebook for tracking of academic compliance and student progress. Works with Program Managers and program faculty to update course curriculum, including online and workshops. Tracks development of agendas and educational materials for classes; distributes materials to participants and advises participants regarding materials they must acquire independently. Maintains online library and scheduling of curriculum materials including assignments; coordinates preparation of online course material and prepares materials for upload to course CANVAS sites. Manages and processes guest lecturer's payment(s) and prepares necessary paperwork for payment on a timely basis. Prepares materials for uploading and ensures they are available to all students and faculty on a timely basis.Student Management - Creates a sense of community for our students while they are in this program. Creates onbaording packets, manages the student hub, schedules and student queries. Work with the students at the begining of each semester to make sure they are registered for the corrent courses in their program. Interacts with the students, answering and triaging questions. Serves as the primary contact for student issues.Financial Reporting - Develope contracts for faculty andprocess their payments . Updates finance spreadsheets and forecast finance payments during the budget season.Reporting and Special Projects -Maintain record of grades and other statistics and report as appropriate. Maintain other records, including number of applications, diversity statistics, admisssion, etc. Develope and coordinate data and records for all students, alumni and faculty. Additional details will be discussed during the interview process. All remote work must be performed within one of the Harvard Registered Payroll States, which currently includes Massachusetts, Connecticut, Maine, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Vermont, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Virginia, Washington, and California (CA for exempt positions only). Certain visa types and funding sources may limit work location. Individuals must meet work location sponsorship requirements prior to employment.
