Reporting to Deputy GC of Real Estate Investment Trust5 days in office in ManhattanAbout Our ClientREITJob DescriptionThe VP, Associate General Counsel will report directly to the Deputy GC and will be responsible for a wide range of commercial real estate transactional legal matters for the REIT, including:Prepare, review and negotiate multiple real estate related contracts including retail leases, ground leases, guaranties, license agreements, brokerage agreement, utility and other easements, settlement agreements and access agreements, and purchase and sale agreements.Advise on acquisitions, dispositions and joint ventures.Prepare, review and negotiate construction, architectural and services agreements.Provide research, legal analysis and advice to the Company's internal leasing and development teams regarding entitlements, use restrictions, exclusives and other considerations across the Company's portfolio, with a view towards development and redevelopment, including mixed-use development.Provide research, legal analysis and advice to the Company's property management and property accounting functions.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
