More information on NewCold can befound on and our socialmedia.Salary$130,000 - $170,000 plus bonus About theRoleThe Refrigeration Engineer isa key member of the Design and Engineering team and is responsible for the designand engineering of all NewCold projects in the USA. The Refrigeration Engineerwill be based in our Chicago office and have dual reporting to the Refrigerationspecialist in the Netherlands and the Director of Design and Engineering -North America. ResponsibilitiesAs engineer you areresponsible for all the technical works related to the Refrigeration throughthe entire life cycle of a project including the use of the operational phaseof the Warehouse.Minimum, 5 - 7 years of experience designing a refrigeration system, including load calculations and equipment selection.Develop and deliver refrigeration concepts for our warehouse development with natural Refrigerants.Partner with Project Engineers to prepare the tender packages for the specific suppliers.Monitor the engineering process based on quality and Total Cost of Ownership.Provide support to business development on budgeting and Refrigeration Solutions.Cooperate with operations on continuous improvement of the Refrigeration Equipment.Audit our operational sites in close cooperation with the maintenance engineers.Experience and EducationBachelor's degree in industrial engineering or qualified equivalent experience in related field. Master's degree preferred. 7 - 10 years of experience in Refrigeration Engineering (Suppliers, Engineering firms)Willing to travel at least 40% of the time to our sites across North America and to the Netherlands as fortably work in an ambiguous work environment and with little direction.
