Job Type Full-timeDescription Accountant Lucas Systems is growing, and we are seeking an experienced, well-rounded accounting professional to join our team in Wexford, Pennsylvania. This role will play an integral part in every aspect of the Accounting Department's support of the business operations as well as serve as back-up for our Corporate Controller. Reporting to the Controller, the Accountant will interact and work closely with all the departments to maintain and drive Lucas' continued success.This position is full-time, working in the Wexford office. ResponsibilitiesThe Accountant has responsibility for the following:Accounts Receivable, Invoicing, Credit Checks, Collections and Cash Application Accounts Payable, Data Entry and Check RunsBilling and Reporting Assistance (Cost Accounting) to Project Managers Procurement and Shipment of Customer Hardware Orders Sales and Use Tax Preparation and Filing Journal Entries and Month End ClosingGeneral Ledger Account ReconciliationsBank Account ReconciliationsReviewing (for compliance with company policies), Tracking and Processing of Employee ExpensesFinancial ReportingMonth End and Year End ProjectsAdministrative Support & Ad Hoc Projects (as may be needed from time to time) Requirements Bachelor's Degree in accounting or financeMinimum of 3, ideally 5 or more, years of general accounting experienceProject Accounting experience a plusStrong written and verbal communication skillsSelf-Starter with attention to detail, reporting and deadlinesProficiency with MS Office, Accounting software packages and Internet applications (NetSuite a plus)Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environmentAbout UsLucas Systems helps companies transform their distribution center operations and continuously adapt to changing market dynamics.
