IT and Facilities CoordinatorLocation: Based in Union City. This position involves managing IT systems, troubleshooting technology issues, maintaining office facilities, and coordinating logistics to support our clinical and administrative teams.The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and proactive in resolving issues before they arise. They should be comfortable handling both IT support tasks and facility management responsibilities, ensuring a safe, efficient, and well-equipped workplace.Key ResponsibilitiesIT Responsibilities:Manage and maintain an inventory of technical equipment, ensuring all staff have the necessary tools for their roles.Set up, troubleshoot, and maintain audiovisual systems for meetings and training sessions.Test, repair, and replace electronic equipment as needed.Oversee and optimize ticketing software for IT support requests.Provide technical support to staff, troubleshooting hardware and software issues.Assist with IT security and data protection measures to maintain HIPAA compliance.Facilities Responsibilities:Coordinate routine maintenance and repairs of office equipment and facilities.Ensure compliance with safety and security protocols (e.g., fire alarms, first aid kits, emergency procedures).Manage office space allocation and furniture arrangements to optimize workflow and efficiency.Oversee vendor relationships for facility services (e.g., janitorial, utilities, security).Support office relocations, expansions, and improvements, working closely with leadership on strategic initiatives.Administrative & Compliance Support:Maintain confidentiality and uphold HIPAA compliance standards in all technical and facility-related tasks.Read situations and execute solutions to ensure the health, safety, and welfare of staff and clients.Provide feedback and recommendations to leadership regarding IT and facility improvements.Stay highly organized and detail-oriented, ensuring documentation, inventory, and project execution are completed in a timely manner.Work closely with the Clinical Director, assisting with technology, facilities, and administrative inquiries as needed.Qualifications & RequirementsEducation & Experience:Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Facility Management, or a related field (preferred but not required).2+ years of experience in IT support, facilities management, or a similar role.Experience in a healthcare, educational, or clinical setting is a plus.Skills & Abilities:Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.Knowledge of basic IT systems, networking, and audiovisual equipment.Excellent organizational and time-management skills.Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Strong communication skills (both verbal and written).Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.Other Requirements:Must have reliable transportation to travel between clinic locations as needed.Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. for equipment setup and minor facility tasks.Why Join Ascend?We are committed to fostering a supportive, inclusive, and empowering work environment where our employees can thrive-just like the children we serve.Benefits:•Competitive Salary or Hourly Pay•Medical, Dental, & Vision Insurance•401(k) with Employer Contribution•PTO & Paid Holidays (including a week off from Christmas to New Year)•Mentorship & Career Growth Opportunities
