Plymouth Parks & Recreation Department offers a wide variety of programs and classes throughout the year. We are currently hiring seasonal staff for our 2025 summer programs. Site Supervisor Design and conduct program for children of all abilities, ages 3 - 10, at various park locations in Plymouth. Activities include crafts, games, sports, playground time, staff led activities and field trips. Program:S.P.A.R.K- Summer Parks and Recreation Kids Monday-Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm Sites: Parkers Lake Park, Plymouth Community Center, and Plymouth Creek Playfield Minimum age 18 years. Part-time day time hours: 30 - 40 hoursweek, Monday - Friday (hours vary). Essential Functions Plans, organizes and direct activities for all ages and all abilities in a recreation setting.Supervises program leads, assistants and teen volunteers. Assists in scheduling, supply ordering and parent communications for the site. Provide support as needed for all participants and staff to create an inclusive environment.Works as part of a team to ensure quality programs for all ages and abilities.Follows staff policies and procedures.Ensures all staff and participants follow the established policies and procedures.Provide a safe, fun, and appropriate experience of all participants. Qualifications Must be 18 years of age or older on program start date.Must enjoy working with young children.Previous experience leading children's activities required. Previous staff supervision experience preferred. Seasonal, temporary and non-regular employees are not eligible for benefits.
