Product Manager - Wireless (EtherWAN)

SynopsisThe Product Manager - Wireless plays a crucial role in the development and integration of hardware and software solutions for the wireless connectivity product line. This role involves designing, implementing, and optimizing innovative technologies to enhance wireless communication capabilities. Objectively, this role will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and high performance of wireless systems.ResponsibilitiesGather market research, customer feedback and stakeholder input to arrive at a strategic product planDevelop and maintain product strategy and roadmap, and communicate strategy to appropriate internal stakeholdersManage the entire lifecycle of the product line including product concept, design, sample production, testing, forecast, cost, mass production, specfeature additions and modifications, and product end of life.Ensure quality of the product line through collaboration with QA and factory.Develop case studies for the Transportation and Public Safety vertical marketsSet prioritization and work with product development team in setting product release deadlinesWrite functional specifications, customer value propositions statements, and expected benefit or loss (if not implemented) of a product or application concept.Ongoing communication on product's progress to executives, sales team, and other stakeholders.Coordinate with the Marketing department to finalize marketing, technical, promotional, and PR material required for product launches.Develop training material and provide training to sales and technical teams.Travel and participate in market activities such as standards meeting, specialty trade shows, conferences, key customer visits, and forums to gain closer access to customer and industry trends.Up to 20% travel, including international travel.Perform other work-related duties as assignedQualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent work experience4+ years product management experience with technology products. Experience in product development or product marketing as anized, self-motivated, and capable of seeing projects through to completionHigh level of accountability, ownership, and planning capabilities, communicates with transparency and integrityStrong written and verbal communication skillsDetail oriented to minimize errors in tasksProven ability to influence cross-functional teams, collaborativeExperience with wireless technology and product is a plusExperience in vertical markets such as transportation, security, energy, or process automation is a plusProficient with CRM, Microsoft Visio, & MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Essential Job FunctionsMust be able to travel via airplane for up to 14 hoursMust have a valid driver's license and be able to travel via automobile for up to six hours at a timeMust be able to travel overnightMust be able to sit for 4 hours at a timeMust be able to stand for extended periods of timeMust be able to lift a minimum of 50 ply with company attendance and dress code policies and guidelinesRegular and on-time attendance.Base salary: $90,000 - $125,000.
