With 22,000 clients, including 93% of the Fortune 100, and 32,000 employees across 28 countries, RRD brings the expertise, execution, and scale designed to transform customer touchpoints into meaningful moments of impact.Job DescriptionResponsibilities:Assist with set up, adjust, operate, and maintain single or multi-color offset pressPerform all make-ready tasks associated with the type of press operated such as hanging plates or installing cylinders, examine platescylinders for imperfections and checks for correct positioning of images, prepping blankets, adjusting tension and register etc.Assist with making necessary color corrections andor press adjustments prior to production run to meet and maintain the quality specifications of the work Clean, lubricate, and maintain the press, making minor repairs and replacing worn or broken parts as requiredAssist with performing periodic maintenance recommended by the manufacturerPerform Roll Tender Feeder and Packer duties as requiredOther responsibilities as assignedShifts: 7pm - 7am 3 days on 4 days off rotating every 8 weeks$3.00 Shift PremiumRRD is an EEOAA including Vets and Disabled EmployerQualificationsRequires some knowledge of offset printing procedures, materials, equipment and safety requirements and skills to perform assignmentsPrevious experience working as roll tender feederSkill to read and understand job specifications to determine press set-up materials needed to run the job successfullyMust have sufficient knowledge of press capabilities to determine the most appropriate use of the press and corrective adjustments required to run efficientlyKnowledge of the appropriate amount of packing pressure needed to obtain the proper printing pressure for the type of job being runSkill in use of micrometer to mount and align the printing plate correctlySkill in routine operational maintenance and minor repairs to equipmentAbility to make adjustments to feeder and feed board (e.g., ability to adjust suctions and blast, front and side guides and the timing of the head stops).High School Diploma or GED5-8 years web press-printing experience.Knowledge of in-line finishing, die cutting, inserters, imagers, color and register is requiredCommunication skillsTroubleshootingProblem-Solving SkillsMechanical AptitudeContinuous standingwalking - 8 -12 hrs Occasional bending, kneeling, climbing, reaching.Occasional lifting and pushingpulling - 50 lbs. or less.Occasional repetitive motion with both hands.Additional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.Pay Disclosure Statement: * Shift Premium: $3.00The pay range for this role at the noted location is $23.25 to $35.00 per hour. The actual rate of pay offered may vary based upon, but not limited to: education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift, and location.
