Opus IVS offers modern collision shops an integrated platform of leading diagnostics and calibration solutions, anchored by expert technicians and cutting edge, patented technology.Job OverviewThe ADAS Solutions Technician supports ADAS software development activities. They are involved in research & data collection, database development & maintenance, QA testing, and technical documentation.Responsibilities:Gather technical specifications, schematics, and data from various manufacturers, industry databases, and internal put, update, and maintain ADAS and Automotive Safety related data (e.g., vehicle model coverage, feature availability, component specifications).Collaborate with Software Engineers, Head of ADAS, and VP of ADAS Solutions to optimize database structure and improve data storage methods.Conduct periodic audits of the database to identify missing or outdated information.Test new database features or functionalities prior to release to ensure they meet quality standards.Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues, working cross-functionally with support and engineering teams.Provide regular progress reports and performance metrics to the Head of ADAS Support & Systems.Contribute to the development of internal documentation, training materials, and user guides.Participate in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and product reviews to provide insights on ADAS database trends.Other duties as required. RequirementsQualifications:Associate degree or higher in Automotive Technology, Computer Science, Electronics, or a related field.Strong understanding of automotive systems, particularly ADAS components and their functionalities.Familiarity with relational databases, data entry best practices, and basic SQL (or other database query languages).Proficient with spreadsheet tools (e.g., Microsoft Office 365, Teams, Web Interfaces) and data management software.Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.Effective written and verbal communication abilities.Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Preferred Qualifications:5+ years of experience in automotive technology, data entrymanagement, or a similar technical research role is preferred.Professional experience in servicing collision-damaged vehicles is preferred.Experience with CCC and Mitchell Estimating software preferred.Knowledge of relevant industry standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices in ADAS.WHAT WE OFFER:Competitive Pay: We know your value and we're not afraid to pay for it.
