Job TitleAction Officer (Intermediate)LocationWESTFIELDS - Chantilly, VA 20151 US (Primary)Job TypeFull-timeCategoryAdministrativeJob DescriptionTHIS POSITION REQUIRES A CURRENT TSSCI WITH POLY SECURITY CLEARANCEProvides support in accordance with established organization and office policies, regulations, and procedures. Directs and oversees the receipt, tasking, tracking and closure of all internal and external tasks. Manages the action tracking system. Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with customers and other stakeholders of the offices both internally and externally.Perform and maintain support functions to include recognition programs, training, and securityManage Tracking Information and Enterprise Response (TIER) actions for supported officeAnalyze and assign or perform actions as appropriateCoordinate responses and assess for accuracy prior to senior management reviewManage and execute the action tracking process; develop standard operating procedures and serve as facilitator for user requirementsMonitor progress on actions, generate metrics to demonstrate accountability for meeting deadlines and quality expectations; prepare periodic reports on action status and keep leadership aware of late, pending and new actionsDisseminate policy and legislative changes to appropriate partiesDraft, proofread, edit and provide final review of internal and external correspondenceDevelop and maintain presentations; maintain a quality control process for all presentationsParticipate in meetings, internal committees, Integrated Process Teams (IPT), working groups and task forcesManage records generated during the execution of projects and programs in accordance with Federal laws and regulations, as well as customer directives and instructionsJob RequirementsSkill Set:Knowledge of federal acquisition requirements DoDIC, budget & finance, and National Security PolicyKnowledge of systems engineering, project or program managementAbility to understand and write in systems engineering technical languageKnowledge of DoDIC organizational structure, mission, vision, culture, values, philosophy and operating principlesExperience working with senior executives at multiple organizational levelsIn-depth knowledge and understanding of DoDIC issues, policies, programs and proceduresProficient in the use of Microsoft Office and standard computer applicationsSkill to adapt to a rapidly changing work environment while maintaining flexibility and versatilityAbility to foster solid relationships that promote cooperation and communicate expectationsAbility to analyze situations and make well informed decisionsAbility to communicate effectively and concisely using a variety of styles and techniques appropriate to the audienceBachelors degree in related field and five years of experience desired.TravelSecurity ClearanceTop SecretSCICI Poly
