This role does not require a valid driver's license or personal vehicle unless specified in additional job requirementsAbility to work as a team member with other Silverado community leadersdepartment heads to develop quality assessment and improvement programsMust be comfortable working in an environment with pets and assisting in the care of community pets, including, but not limited to, dogs, cats, and birdsYou may be required to work outside of your regular hours depending on business needsWhat you will be doing: Manages the scheduling function of the clinical department, including daily assignment sheetsMaintains the active database of caregiver shifts, preferences, and availabilityCoordinates monthly staff schedules, arranges replacement staffing when necessary and maintains clear records of all changes, requests, and irregularitiesCompletes nursing schedules to assure proper coverage is met to meet resident needs, in addition to following staffing ratios according to the budgeted census of the communityUnderstands resident and community needs and makes appropriate scheduling decisions based on those needsResponds in a timely and creative manner to emergent scheduling needsActive supervision of caregivers-this includes appropriate time with the PM, NOC, and weekend teamsAssists with recruiting and onboarding of caregivers including interviews, offers, scheduling orientation, onboarding and shadowingMaintains a database of associate licenses andor certificationsProvides routine updates regarding new caregivers, call-offs, and scheduling needs to Administrator andor DHSProvides updates regarding use of overtime, missed meal and rest breaks, tardiness, contract labor, incentives, etc. to AdministratorDirector of Health Services and makes appropriate recommendations to solve for any extensive overtime or contract labor issuesManages timecards and approves payroll for the current weekly period for the clinical teamWorks with HR and the DHS to manage performance concerns, workers compensation and associate leaves of absenceCoordinates and manages the overall training and continuing education of the clinical team and keeps such recordsBudgeting, inventory, and ordering of clinical suppliesParticipates and helps manage department quality improvement activitiesDevelops excellent relations with Silverado community associates - including connecting with the nurses and caregivers facilitating retention and satisfaction of all staff and assuring good communications with all leaders at the communitySupervises and evaluates associate conformance to policies and procedures under the direction of the Director of Health ServicesParticipates in community functions including family socials and open houses#LI-RB1Anticipated pay range$70,000-$70,000 USDWe are looking for someone who: Loves people Has compassion and patience Is comfortable working around animals and petsA quick learner who is dedicated to professional growthIs ethical, honest, dependable, and open-minded Is an effective communicator in both verbal and written English Silverado offers the following benefits to eligible employees: 401(k) matchingHealth, Dental and Vision InsuranceFlexible Spending Account (FSA), Health Savings Account (HSA) Paid time offTuition reimbursement and professional development assistance Referral programOther amazing benefits such as Pet Insurance, Auto and Home Insurance and Discount Programs!* Silverado is not using outside recruiters to source for this position and will not accept agency or non-Silverado recruiter represented candidates in connection with this job posting. *California Employees: For roles requiring driving, the driving requirement has been deemed essential to the performance of this role due to specific business necessity.
