Project Compliance Specialist

Position Description:The Project Compliance Specialist reports directly to the Assistant Controller and is responsible for ensuring the organization remains compliant with both governmental and project level payrolldemographic reporting requirements. In addition, the compliance specialist is responsible for ensuring that Bond Civil & Utility and all subcontractors remain compliant with both internal, and project level insurance requirements.Responsibilities:Manage certified payroll process for required projectsCollect and review subcontractor certified payroll recordsMonitor union and prevailing wage rates on a per project basisManage prevailing wage setups and monitor weekly compliance with payrollManage vendor and subcontractor compliance with insurance tracking, EEO and DBE reportingEnsure projects are set up in accordance with the contract requirementsAssist project teams with ad hoc requests relative to compliancePerform various project related analysis, reconciliations, and financial reportingAssist other departments with ad hoc requestsSupport job auditsWork on special projects as directed by managementQualifications:Exceptional time-management skills to ensure deadlines are met while providing accurate deliverablesBe able to proactively influence and establish positive working relationships with clients, unions, subcontractors, and BOND employeesMust be detail-oriented, flexible, and able to effectively multi-task in a fast paced environmentMust display initiative and independent thinkingStrong knowledge of Microsoft Office requiredExperience with COINS or Heavy Job software a plusConstruction industry andor payroll experience preferred
