Precollege Immersion Program Student Resident Assistant

DescriptionThe Precollege Immersion Program Resident Assistant will act an as RA for the high school students living on-campus during the 2 week residency program. Precollege RAs must cover overnight shifts, including nightly curfew and bed checks. RAs will assist with check-in on the first day of the program and check-out on the final day. RAs must be able act as a point a contact for any minor issues, conflicts, or emergencies in the dorms and during overnights over the 2 weeks.RequirementsLive in the dorms at the NYC campus for the 2 weeks of the program Perform RA duties include nightly curfew and bed checksAssist with student move -in and move-outHandle crisis and student conflict issues Be able aware of and be able to initiate protocol in case of an emergency Act as a representative of Pace Ability to handle crisis and conflict issues Ability to facilitate meditation Strong customer service skills Strong leadership skills
