Job DescriptionUtilize professional communication skills and mechanical and electrical knowledge to test, troubleshoot, and repair complex technical problems on machining products. Services are provided on-site at customer facilities and remotely via telephone if the situation permits. Duties include:Travel to local customer locations to diagnose technical problems and perform on-site repairsInspect, troubleshoot, and repair rebuild electrical and mechanical systemsExamine machines mechanically and perform repairs by dismantling and rebuilding mechanical systemDiagnose technical problems and troubleshooting via telephone if possibleUtilize schematics, drawings, and block diagrams to analyze and troubleshoot problemsRequirementsMilitary or industry experience from an electrical background with mechanical ability2-5 years of experience as a field service technician is a PLUSAny PLC, industrial automation, machine tool, or CNC programming experience is a huge PLUSSkilled in electrical measurement (voltmeter, oscilloscope, etc) and mechanical (dial indicators, micrometers, calipers, etc)Current valid drivers' license is required due to the necessary extensive local travelBenefitsFull Comprehensive Benefits Plan$68.00 Day per diem$.68 mileage for driving your own car Will provide rental otherwiseKeep all airline and hotel miles and pointsAll Benefits per 2024 Benefit PDF
