Sheppard Pratt is seeking an experienced psychiatrist who is an expert in psychiatric emergency services to serve as the Service Chief for ER services at Greater Baltimore Medical Center (GBMC). The Service chief will be responsible for providing quality psychiatric emergency services, coordinating these services with GBMC's ER staff and supervising a team of clinical professionals as they provide evaluations to mental health patients in the ER. This role is split between clinical (primarily ED with cross coverage for inpatient consultation liaison service) and administrative duties. In this role, you will be part of Sheppard Pratt's large psychiatry team but will provide on-site services at GBMC, which is located next to Sheppard Pratt's flagship Towson campus. This role can be either a full-time or part-time position.Requirements:Must have experience with psychiatric admissions and emergency room servicesPrevious leadershipadministrative experience is highly desired.Must have a current license to practice in Maryland at the time of hireBoard certification in psychiatry requiredAt Sheppard Pratt, you will work alongside a multi-disciplined team led by a bold vision to change lives.
