SG CIB operates through three main business lines:- Global Markets (MARK) - focused on the needs of investors- Global Coverage (CORI) - focused on client relationships, advisory and issuance- Global Financing (GLFI) - focused on the needs of issuersFor this position, you will be part of MARK and more specifically part of the Financial engineering group.The Global Markets Financial Engineering group brings together the Equities, Rates, Credit, Currencies and Commodities structuring capabilities to provide investors with a single integrated cross-asset solutions team. With over 200 financial engineers worldwide, we're the link between the Sales and Trading groups to match our clients' needs with SG's trading expertise. The NY based team develops customized investment and hedging solutions for Institutional and Corporate clients in the North and South American regionsYou'll be responsible for the conception, pricing and promotion of financial products. You'll work with the Sales and Trading departments on the negotiation and execution of deals.You will develop your skills in pricing structured products and very exotic options payoffs on different asset classes.Tasks and responsibilities:•Develop, design, price and promote Fixed income structured notes, non-vanilla Interest Rates and Foreign Exchange (FX) derivatives both for Financial Institutions (banks, insurers, asset managers, private banking, pension funds, sovereignsupra nationals, retail, hedge funds) and for Corporate clients (large and mid-cap corporations)•Interact with sales to better understand their clients' needs and come up with appropriate tailor-made investing or hedging solutions on Interest Rates and FX•Generate files in order to create back-test and test the strategies•Create and automate pricing runs, working with members of the marketing team•Assist in managing the Interest Rates and FX business expansion for the exotic and structured products for institutional and corporate clients•Assist in the management of the creation of products, approvals from trading, implementation of the systems and riskvaluation approvals for new Interest Rates and FX trades overseen by the new Product CommitteeDue to the VIE eligibility criteria, a questionnaire will be provided. It will last 18 case a visa is necessary, please make sure your passport is valid up to 6 months after the end of the VIE contract to not delay your departure.The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France's eligibility criteria, opened to candidates under 28 and from the member states of the European Economic Space.
