Our internship program is designed to provide you with real-world hands-on experience primarily in the field, where the Action is! We offer a structured and robust 10-week internship in the summer. You will be working alongside mentors and construction experts to gain knowledge and skills within the project management function.Your RoleAs an Engineering Intern, you will contribute to the Company's success by providing support to your mentor project manager and assigned project team.WHAT YOU'LL DO:Assisting project management staff on various aspects of estimating and project management work, rotating between types of work and departments as availableHelping with clerical needs of project management staff which may relate to project submittals, scheduling, costing, document control, and other miscellaneous tasks in the office and at the job sitesLearning to use AutoCAD for projectsAttending project meetings with customersOther duties as assignedWHAT YOU'LL NEED:Enrolled in college, leading to a bachelor's degree in construction management or civil engineeringEligibility to work in the United States, full-time (Monday-Friday) with overtime as necessary.A minimum of one years' work experience reflecting ambition and a good work ethic; some construction experience helpfulAny equivalent combination of acceptable education, training, and experience SUKUT BENEFITS OVERVIEWMedical, Dental, and Vision insurance plans with Sukut paying 100% of premiums for employees and eligible dependents.Employer-paid life insurance and identity theft plan for employees.Voluntary supplemental health and welfare plans.Paid Sick and Holiday time.Profit sharing bonus potential. Educational Assistance potential.$22 - $25 an hourA reasonable base compensation estimate for this position includes a new hire base hourly rate of $22 - $25 per hour + comprehensive benefits + potential for a discretionary profit-sharing dividual pay within this compensation range may span multiple levels within the role and is determined by assessing job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. It also factors in market demands and business needs.
