At MGM Resorts, we seek individuals like YOU to create unique and show-stopping experiences for our guests.THE JOB:It is the primary responsibility of the Housekeeping Floor Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of assigned floors to ensure the overall cleanliness of property rooms. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and property policies, practices, and procedures.THE DAY-TO-DAY:Supervises GRA's, Housepersons, assigned floors and ensures all rooms and hallways are cleaned to Company standardsCreates a good work environment that promotes teamwork, mutual respect, and employee satisfaction and properly utilizes performance feedback, recognition, training, and adherence to company policies, legal requirements, and collective bargaining agreementsSupervises Housekeeping employees to ensure they are alert to all their duties and adhere to Company and Housekeeping policies and proceduresInspects the required number of guest rooms on a daily basis to ensure Guest Room Attendants (GRA's) are conforming to the sanitation requirements of health laws and standards set by the CompanyMaintains records including repairs needed, lost and found items, and quality of work completed by employeesInstructs employees on the products used for cleaning in accordance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) chemical Right to Know standardsSubmits required number of hallway evaluations to the Assistant Housekeeping ManagerReports all work orders to status and any follow requiredUtilizes proper procedures for enteringcleaning a guest roomResolves guest complaints in a timely mannerCompletes daily worksheets, reports accurately and in a timely mannerIssues and retrieves all master keys, cellphones, and two-way radios at the beginning and end of each shiftAssist in projects assigned by the Asst Housekeeping ManagerMeet productivity standards for your position ensuring each GRA completes the amount of credits requiredTHE IDEAL CANDIDATE:High School Diploma, GED, or EquivalentTwo (2) or more years of experience in Housekeeping in a resort settingAbility to work various shifts, including holidays and weekendsBilingualProficient with computers, Microsoft Word, and other programsExcellent guest service experienceAbility to lead and mentor a teamTHE PERKS & BENEFITS:Wellness incentive programs to help you stay healthy physically and mentallyAccess to company hotel, food and beverage, retail, and entertainment discounts as well as discounts with company partners on things like travel, electronics, online shopping, and moreHealth, dental, and vision careFree meals in our employee dining roomFree parking on and off shiftProfessional and personal development through programs and networking opportunities as well as volunteer opportunities in the communityVIEW JOB DESCRIPTION:you ready to JOIN THE SHOW?
