Our client base primarily comprises large corporations and government entities. A woman- and minority-owned firm, we are steered by a diverse group of professionals hailing from Big Law, in-house positions, government roles, and HR backgrounds. We take pride in being a distinctive and exceptional firm!Salary: $100,000 base pay, $5k bonus after 90 days, ample quarterly bonusesResponsibilitiesKey responsibilities:•Drafting pleadings, motions, briefs, and agency responses•Drafting memos, letters, and case status updates•Drafting and responding to discovery•Taking and defending depositions•Representing clients in court proceedings, mediation, and administrative proceedings•Assisting in conducting workplace investigations•Delegating to and supervising paralegals, law clerks, and legal assistants•Assisting with Firm business development, marketing efforts, and administrative activities, as requested•Inputting billable time on a daily basisQualifications•The ideal candidate for this position must currently hold a valid license to practice law in Georgia•Possessing a minimum of two years of civil litigation experience at a law firm, with a preference for employment law and federal court experience•Demonstrating an attraction to delivering high-quality work for business clients, including in-house counsel•Enjoying opportunities to engage in networking activities with colleagues and community members to enhance the Firm's and Team's reputation•Displaying exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to establish trust and rapport with team members at various levels•Capable of prioritizing multiple tasks effectively, meeting deadlines, and producing quality work•Eager to participate in the Firm's business development initiatives•Thriving in a flexible, autonomous, and accountable work environment within a small firm setting•Valuing the hands-on learning opportunities offered by a small firm environment
