We're currently looking for a responsible individual to fill the role of Porter in one of our prime locations in New York, NY. As a Porter, you'll play a vital role in maintaining the impeccable standards of our properties.Rate: $21.00hourSchedule: M-W-F (5 hoursday) 8am - 1pmResponsibilities include but are not limited to:Follow established schedules and procedures for trash collection and disposal.Maintain cleanliness by sweeping and mopping floors and stairwells.Clean and upkeep exterior grounds, sidewalks, and trash areas.Sweep and mop stairwells monthly, with weekly inspections.Promptly report any damages to ensure timely repairs.Clean and maintain all finished interior spaces, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, cleaning glass, furniture, and restrooms, and removing trash.Promote safety by placing hazard signs, such as "Wet Floor" and "Wet Paint" signs, as needed.Report any equipment or maintenance issues to the manager.Clean and maintain unfinished floors, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal.Requirements:1 year experience in housekeeping, janitorial or related professional area is preferred.Hands-on experience with industrial cleaning equipment, showcasing your expertise.Physical fitness to perform tasks involving standing, bending, squatting, and lifting objects weighing 40+ lbs.Reliability, professionalism, attention to detail, and thoroughness in your work.Familiarity with the safe use of sanitation products and equipment.US work authorization is Required.If you're ready to be a part of our outstanding team and make a difference in the lives of our residents, apply today!Please note that this job description is subject to change at the sole discretion of the Company and does not create an employment contract, implied or otherwise.
