Job Title: Sr. Infrastructure Program ManagerLocation: Remote C2C ContractJob Description: Establishing program goals and visions •Developing the Program Charter•Assigning, managing andor coordinating Project Managers•Validating business requirements•Understanding the current customer environment and assessing the requirements to successfully transform from the current to the future solution•Overseeing the development and execution of additional program functions, including o Program management plano Program scheduling, sequencing, dependencies, timelines and staffing plan, including:§Procurement§ Provisioning§ Data center site readiness & installation§ User deployment & migration o Cost management plan o Contingency plans o Risk management plan and escalation paths o Communications plan o Change management plan•Lead project team members in detailed planning and execution•Develop and execute project functions •Project scheduling, sequencing, dependencies, timelines, and staffing plan, including: o Procurement o Site engagementkickoff o Facilitate site data collection o Site readiness and installation o Operational turnover•Communicate with various bank personnel and third-party providers to manage end-to-end projects dealing with bank network and infrastructure.•Manage one or more cross-functional projectsengagements of medium to high complexity.•Responsible for overall coordination, status reporting, and stability of project-oriented work efforts.•Ensure adherences to quality standards and reviews project deliverables.•Work from detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, and status reports.•Facilitate standard process, procedures, and controls.•Attend projectengagement meetings and is responsible for project task tracking.•Communicate to internal and external program stakeholders.•Provide executive reporting of program petencies: Firewall Administration - Security Management (IT IS), IT IS_CNS_Wireless Network_CiscoExperience (Years): 8-10Essential Skills: Telecommunication Consulting is in the process of building a large program team to support infrastructure projects globally for a large bank. The initial step is to build out the team of Program Managers that will be assigned a set of projects and responsible to lead these projects for on-time and on-budget project completion using standard engineering methodologies. The Program Manager provides governance and oversight of the purpose and status of the projects in a program and uses this oversight to support project-level activity. This role is critical for ensuring that the program goals are met by providing a decision-making capacity that cannot be achieved at the individual project level, by providing the project manager(s) with a program perspective when required or as a sounding board for ideas and approaches to solving project issues that have program-level impacts.Desirable Skills: •Must have network and infrastructure background: o Be conversant in how a network and infrastructure are delivered:§ Understand circuit order (non-DIA) processing with such vendors as Telecommunication, Comcast, and others.§ Understand what a DMARC is and what a last mile provider (LMP) is and how this infrastructure works.§ Understand delivery and setup of a new circuit and how it is connected and turned up.§Understand what a router is and where it is placed in the infrastructure. o Understand basic network equipment and its uses (i.e., core and UA switches, firewalls, wireless controllers, WAPs, servers) and how it all fits in the infrastructure. o Understand network diagrams and the flow of connections.•Understand basic Datacenter (DC) concepts: o How DC operations work (general)o Fibercopper connections o Equipment racks (e.g., whether there is enough space in a rack, whether new racks will be needed)o Power requirements (e.g., adding new equipment, whether there is enough power)o HVAC (e.g., knowing the questions to ask to support new equipment)•Be a $No Visa Sponsership$ and must be able to pass a $Diverse Lynx$.•Expertise in Microsoft Project•Have an associate degree or bachelors degree in computer science, information systems, business administration, or other related discipline (or equivalent work experience).•The candidate must have excellent client interfacing skills, vendorthird-party resources, strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to work with all levels of management. They should have experience operating with colleagues across different time zones with a flexible approach to working hours (ability to work varied hours and weekends a must) to successfully interact and communicate on a global level) if needed.•8+ years managing projects.•Financial services (Insurance, Banking, Investment banking), is a plus.•Must have strong analytical skills.
