We are focused on maintaining a diverse, inclusive, and authentic workplace and are always looking to add passionate personnel to our teams across the US.Job Summary The Payroll Specialist is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company's payroll function, ensuring accurate and timely processing of employee pay, compliance with all relevant regulations, and providing excellent customer service to employees. This role requires strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, as well as a thorough understanding of payroll laws and regulations.Responsibilities Process and manage weekly employee payroll, including salaries, bonuses, commissions, deductions, and taxes.Administer and maintain payroll systems in UKG Pro, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.Run and analyze payroll reports, ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local payroll regulations.Administer and maintain UKGWFM timekeeping platform, analyzing employee time and attendance data, and resolving discrepancies.Maintain accurate employee records, including personnel files and payroll documentation.Serve as the primary point of contact for employees regarding payroll-related questions and concerns, providing prompt and professional responses.Maintain and update payroll policies to ensure compliance with relevant regulations.Assist with internal and external payroll audits.Assist with ad-hoc projects and initiatives as needed, such as system implementations, process improvements, and special payroll runs.Qualifications and skillsProven experience in payroll processing and administration.Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.Strong organizational and time-management skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).Experience with UKG Pro and Sage Timberline or other payroll software.Knowledge of relevant labor laws and regulations.Salary InformationTo the extent this position is performed in New York, the annual salary range for this role is $75,000 - $100,000.The referenced salary range is based on the Company's good faith belief at the time of posting.
