The Associate Banker SAFE Act LO is a seasoned professional role. Applies in-depth disciplinary knowledge, contributing to the development of new techniques and the improvement of processes and work-flow for the area or function. Integrates subject matter and industry expertise within a defined area. Requires in-depth understanding of how areas collectively integrate within the sub-function as well as coordinate and contribute to the objectives of the function and overall business. Evaluates moderately complex and variable issues with substantial potential impact, where development of an approachtaking of an action involves weighing various alternatives and balancing potentially conflicting situations using multiple sources of information. Requires good analytical skills in order to filter, prioritize and validate potentially complex and dynamic material from multiple sources. Strong communication and diplomacy skills are required. Regularly assumes informalformal leadership role within teams. Involved in coaching and training of new recruits Significant impact in terms of project size, geography, etc. by influencing decisions through advice, counsel andor facilitating services to others in area of specialization. Work and performance of all teams in the area are directly affected by the performance of the individual.Responsibilities: Partner with Banker in the creation of sales and marketing strategies designed to generate revenue growth and to acquire new target clientsPartner with Banker on prospecting efforts prospecting - conduct new clientprospect research, generate leads and develop prospects, network to identify referrals to new clientsprospects, and coordinate client eventsClientprospect meetings - Organize the pre-call planning, organizing post-meeting notes, and maintain all client call records including call reportsIntroduce Citi's value proposition to incoming employees at target firmsCultivate relationships with firm employees. Source leads and referrals to generate new individual and institutional businessLeverage relationships to understand client needs and deepen Citi's relationships with existing clientConstruct and execute marketing campaigns around our unique and tailored product offeringsWork closely with Investments, Credit, Cash Management, and Financial Planning teams to source opportunities, prepare client pitches, and deliver Citi's full suite of banking and wealth management solutions to our clientsProvide complete service support to client, including solving complex client inquiriesAppropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.Qualifications:3-7 years of relevant experiencePrior experience in wealth management or other financial services roles preferredAbility to manage relationships both internal and externalAbility to multi-taskFINRA SIE, Series 7, Series 66 required (or obtained within 150 days)Education:Bachelor'sUniversity degree or equivalent experienceJob Family Group: Private Client CoverageJob Family:Private Banker SupportTime Type:Full timePrimary Location:New York New York United StatesPrimary Location Full Time Salary Range:$109,120.00 - $163,680.00In addition to salary, Citi's offerings may also include, for eligible employees, discretionary and formulaic incentive and retention awards.
