POSITION RESPONSIBILITIESThe Analyst - Senior Housing and CCRC Asset Management will have the opportunity to learn skills and assist in improving performance, evaluating capital decisions, and address asset management issues that arise in Healthpeak's senior housing and CCRC portfolios. The primary functions of this position are to perform analyses in support of property and portfolio operating performance, capital investment decision making, and to prepare ad hoc analyses on behalf of the Asset Management team. Principal responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Reporting and financial analyses of operating trends and capital deployment for portfolios and assetsDevelop understanding of a portfolio capital structure, business plans and key risks to performance through discussions with operating partners and asset visitsOrganize asset action plans and coordinate with partners to follow up and executeAudit and summarize operator capital funding request including aggregating supporting invoices, liens, and proof of paymentAssist in evaluating unique asset management issues including gathering operating and financial considerations through independent research and direct contact with external parties and internal functional teams.Build working relationships with Healthpeak internal departments (Accounting, Financial Planning & Analysis, Capital Asset Management, Legal, Tax) as well as with external Healthpeak partners and managers.Ad hoc investment analysis including materials to be presented to senior management for considerationAccompany site visits to assist with asset and market-level due diligenceReport on and track compliance with key provisions within lease, JV and management agreementsPOSITION REQUIREMENTSBachelor's degree from an accredited college or universityPreferred majors include Finance, Accounting, Information Science, Economics or Real Estate or other fields or other majorsexperience where the candidate can easily demonstrate quantitative analytical experienceExperience in real estate investments, asset management, financial or operational analysis in the HealthcareSenior Living industry, or a background in investment banking management consulting or real estate transactional lawAbility to travel (less than 15% of the time)Solid understanding of key accounting and corporate finance principlesFinancial modeling experience requiredMBA or CFA is a plusStrong ability to manage and motivate team members and assess performanceAbility to work in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment, and coordinate with multiple departments while fostering a collaborative approach and forward-thinking, positive attitudeSelf-motivated and driven with ability to work effectively in a collegial, fast moving and demanding environmentEffective communication and presentation skillsExpert working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and WordCompetitive benefit package and salary commensurate with experience: $85,000 - $100,000 annually, plus generous cash incentives.
