A BAM Investment Coordinator's role is to provide ongoing support to the BAM investment staff and to promote collaboration across sector teams. They will function as the integral, go-to person in helping our investment teams navigate the firm. The employee will primarily focus on assisting with Portfolio Manager-Analyst team support, schedule maintenance, travel and expenses, research and model acquisition, and any ad-hoc projects that the investment teams require. They will work with BAM Broker Relations to help investment staff liaise with our sell side counterparts in the region. Investment Coordinators are external facing as they will also work with corporatesinvestor relations to schedule access touchpoints. This role requires high attention to detail, relationship management, resourcefulness, initiative, and a go-getter attitude. They will work collaboratively and effectively with all levels of management, staff, clients, external partners, and regulatory agencies. In the role of Investment Coordinator, the employee will be responsible for the following: •Providing day-to-day support for PM and Analyst teams•Coordinating corporate access for investment teams such as conferences, NDRs, sell side analyst meetings and expert calls•Tracking and highlighting upcoming events tailored to teams' coverage universe•Collaborating with Broker Relations team while maintaining critical reporting systems for the firm•Daily data entry and maintenance to keep Event Tracker database accurate•Tagging post-meeting notes for Compliance in Idea Tracker•Scheduling Intro, Pre-Quarter & Post-Earnings IR Calls while utilizing BAM systems to invite relevant parties•Calendar Management: Daily and weekly review of teams' calendars to ensure they are abreast of meetings for the day ahead; address any conflicts or prioritization needed•Submitting accurate and timely expenses•Bespoke reporting for investment teams•Working with Compliance to ensure adherence to policy, meeting clearance, and obtain approvals, vetting of industry expert meetings, any non-C-level management events, private company meetings•Maintaining investment teams Coverage & Watchlists•Gathering and printing of models, transcriptions, and company presentations•Booking Hotel, Airfare, Cars, Visas, Passport Renewal as needed•Ad Hoc Tasks: Medical healthcare claim forms, Relocation arrangements In order to effectively represent the Company and communicate with clients, a BAM Investment Coordinator should possess the following attributes: •Corporate Access knowledge•Collaborative Team Player•Analytical Thinker•Equity Capital Markets Knowledge•Strong written and verbal communication skills•Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
