Bartender - Beverage

Receives and prepares beverage orders, including mixing alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to standard beverage recipes. Maintains the cleanliness of the bar area and equipment.Essential Job Functions:Greet and serve guests in a friendly courteous manner;Receive and prepare beverage orders from food servers, cocktail servers;Know what brands of liquor, beer and wine we offer as "comped" beverages;Mix alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to memorized standard beverage recipes;Maintain cleanliness of bar area by removing used glasses, napkins, emptying ashtrays and wiping bar top;Maintain and replenish ice supply;Operate cash register, complete transactions according to procedures, and maintain accurate bank;Never serve two drinks at the same time to one person - never a beer and a shot;Be aware of intoxicated guests; stay up-to-date on care training;Other reasonable duties as assignedEDUCATION andor EXPERIENCE:High SchoolGED preferred6 months related experience minimum.Preferred: Bilingual a plusCERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:Must be able to obtainmaintain any necessary certifications andor licenses as required by local gaming regulations.KNOWLEDGESKILLSABILITIES:Ability to handle high volume and stressful situationsExcellent guest service communication skillsExposure to smoke, bright lights, and noise at times - casino environmentMust be able to lift, carry, and maneuver up to 25 poundsAble to walk and stand the duration of assigned shiftBenefitsMedical, Dental, & VisionVoluntary Life, AD&D, &Disability InsuranceVolunteer Time Off,Ventra Program401K + Employer MatchPaid Time OffTuition ReimbursementSalary Range:$11.40 -$18.90 + Tips
