They are owned by a larger parent company that oversees an entire aerospace manufacturing portfolio in the U.S with over $1B in annual revenue.Job DescriptionKey duties and responsibilities include:Leading productivity improvements, automation implementation, and LEAN initiatives.Driving shop floor CI through lean minded processflow improvements and cross functional kaizen events.Developing and improving processes in a machine shop and assembly environment.Troubleshooting production issues of mechanical and electrical nature.Being involved in capital expenditure discussionsDeveloping automation, optimized methods, special tooling & machinetest stand designs for the purpose of cost reduction, quality & process enhancementAbility to understand electrical schematics and troubleshootidentify component level issues.Developing requirements for tooling, fixturing, testing and support equipment.Understanding Customer and Engineering (Mechanical and Electrical) requirements and translating them into processes MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
