Job descriptionEnsure all health and safety standards (county, state, and federal) and are met by all kitchen staff members throughout one's shift.Ensure that food is being handled, prepped and plated in a safe and consistent manner.Assist with keeping an overall inventory of all food items that is utilized by the kitchen staff.Prevent the kitchen from running out of needed and mandated food items, specifically breakfast menu, dinner menu and banquet items.Establish and maintain safe food storage throughout the kitchen and supply closets, rooms, shelves, etc.Check and validate any and all food deliveries or supplies that come in for the kitchen during designated shifts.
