We are committed to providing whole person care, investing in your well-being, and enriching your career.Key Position Details:Meet one of our Radiologic Technologists: Allina Health Rad Tech Casual position - Employees must pick up at least one shift per month.Richfield Clinic will be home base -Will require some floating to other SW Region sites to include Clinics and Urgent Care.8, 10 and 12-hour shifts availableWeekend shifts are not required - are available for pick up if candidates are interestedJob Description:Performs diagnostic radiological imaging, including mammography andor DEXA scanning as directed by providers or radiologist, providing timely and quality service to patients. Follows Imaging Department policies to maintain a safe, efficient and economical environment. Interacts with patients to welcome, explain and respond to questions and concerns during and following the procedure. Individuals in this role will work in an outpatient clinic setting.Principle ResponsibilitiesCompletes procedures in compliance with physician orders and department guidelinesIdentifies patient with two identifiers.Documents accurately all needed aspects of the procedure.Observes and communicates with patient, responding to needs.Maintains safe patient environment in procedure area.Performs procedures with high degree of accuracyDemonstrates appropriate knowledge of all diagnostic equipment.Maintains work knowledge and competence.Gathers all relevant information to assist in interpretation of images.Verifies all imaging has appropriately transferred to imaging storage and retrieval system.Provides accurate clerical functionUses Excellian (electronic medical record).Understands the Enterprise Medical ImagingPicture Archiving and Communication System.Ensures all documentation is complete post municates with supervisor and teamReports problems, issues or ideas.Provides assistance, ideas and information to support the work of others.Other duties as assigned.Required Qualifications Vocational or Technical Training graduate of School of Radiologic Technology0 to 2 years prior radiology and mammogram experienceLicensesCertificationsRegistered Technologist - The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required registered ARRT, current Mammography certification or willing to obtain in 30 days upon hireRegistered Technologist - The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required registered in Mammography within 1 YearBLS Tier 1 - Basic Life Support - Multisource required upon hirePhysical DemandsMedium Work*:Lifting weight Up to 32 lbs. occasionally (*Allina Safe Patient Moving Policy), Up to 25 lbs. frequentlyPay RangePay Range: $33.49 to $45.90 per hourThe pay described reflects the base hiring pay range. Your starting rate would depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, your experience, education, and the union agreement (if applicable).
