Specific duties of a Senior Guard include supervising daily operation of aquatics programs and assisting in training, staff development, evaluating and supervising aquatic staff. Candidates will need to be knowledge in preventing accidents and responding to emergencies, maintaining order of the facility and programs, providing customer service and enforcing rules and regulations.For more information please see the Qualifications Education and Experience GuidelinesAny combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the knowledge and abilities would be: Experience:One season of American Red Cross lifeguard experience.LicenseCertificate:Possession of an American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification including First Aid for Public Safety Personnel (Title 22), Administering Emergency Oxygen, Anaphylaxis and Epinephrine Auto-Injector, Bloodborne Pathogens and Asthma Inhaler Training at time of hire.
