This is an opportunity to be a key person at the ground level of an ambitious, high end, growing fitness business. Our goal is to deliver consistently positive and engaging member experiences and an exceptional Sales Manager is essential to our success.Role & Responsibilities:Sale of memberships Serve as a mentor to Chelsea Piers Fitness Membership ConsultantsWorking cohesively with a team of Membership Consultants and a Vice President of Sales to be successful individually and as a teamEstablishing a strong sales pipeline, meeting sales objectives and collaborating with a team to achieve the overall goals of the businessManaging select member events geared towards engaging the membership base and generating interest in and excitement around the clubServing as a visible and active goodwill ambassador with members and at select special eventsWork closely with the marketing team to align sales efforts with promotional campaigns and initiativesFoster a data-driven sales culture through the adoption of a technology-enabled sales processLead weekly sales meetingsQualificationsQualifications:Analysis and understanding of key business metrics that directly impact membership growthSelf-motivatedentrepreneurial spirit with an outgoing, diligent and affable dispositionSuperior customer service skills; excellent and clear communication skills, both verbal and written; strong organizational skills and attention to detail Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word and Excel Passion for fitness with a team-first mentalityAbility to work on nights, weekends and holidays as needed3+ years of Membership Sales experience, preferably in a high-end fitness environment
