Social Media Graphic Designer

Our direct Client is looking for:Position: Social Media Graphic DesignerDuration: 6+ MonthsLocation: Hybrid remote in Chicago, ILJob Description:We are looking for a graphic design contractor to support the social media team's many initiatives and projects, including social asset creation support, video editing, as well as additional visual design-related duties.POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:•Create engaging social content graphics for multiple brands on multiple channels based on strategies provided by Social Media Managers•InstagramFacebook Stories design concepting & creation for multiple brands•Brainstorming, ideating and concepting new templates and formats for social platforms and multiple brands•Develop designs and graphics that are on strategy & reflect brand's pillars•Basic video editing (recoloring, formatting, GIF creation, etc)•Additional graphic design support for Social Media team as needed•Photography to support various social content needs and executions is a plus•Manage individual project production schedules for on-time deliveryEXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:•Minimum of 3 years of experience working in a graphic design role•Strong portfolio demonstrating spectrum of work & skill set•Strong familiarity with design software and technologies (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), as well as video editing software, and business software (Power Point, Keynote, Word, Pages)•Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite•Highly creative and immersed in social media, with in-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms•Ability to work with a variety of partners and team members across different projects•Highly self-motivated•Deadline & detail-oriented•Proven analytical and problem-solving abilitiesPREFERRED SKILLS:•Strong time management skills•Excellent visual design skills•Some professional photography backgroundEDUCATION:•College degree, preferably with major or focus in graphic designIf interested, Feel free to share your resume on
