OverviewThe Director of Cloud Services will provide leadership for the vision, planning, development, implementation, and support of cloud services and solutions. This function plays a critical role for M Health Fairview's ongoing success, providing business value as we transform to being data-driven and digitally enabled as an organization. This leadership role is responsible for comprehensively understanding associated solutions necessary to enable and support the various system management capabilities across the enterprise. This role will work in close partnership with internal IT stakeholders (architecture, applications, analytics, technical operations), business partners (operations, clinical or shared services), and external partners (vendors, academic or others) to accomplish service delivery. Key accountabilities including driving improved service levels and processes, as well as team competencies and business capabilities of the Cloud team. The role has substantial decision-making accountability within the areas of technology, talent, budget, and process. The role is accountable for delivering projects and services to the entire enterprise with a high level of budget responsibility and team member leadership, both direct and indirect. Responsibilities Job DescriptionJob Expectations:Provide vision, strategy and oversight for cloud implementation, continued delivery, ongoing support and reporting, leveraging both onshore and offshore resources to create a sustainable cloud practice that meets both operational and financial goals.Develop, communicate and execute the organization's cloud strategy, aligning it with business objectives.Lead and mentor a team of cloud managers, engineers, and architects. Work in close partnership with internal IT stakeholders (architecture, applications, analytics, technical operations), business partners (operations, clinical or shared services), and external partners (vendors, academic or others) to accomplish service delivery. Accountable to lead highly engaged teams in the cloud infrastructure, delivering the enterprise mission and vision and adhering to enterprise commitmentsvalues. Work in collaboration with Human Resources to develop, implement and evaluate Talent strategies to engage, develop and retain talent.Oversee the design, build, and maintenance of cloud-based infrastructure, ensuring scalability, security, and cost-effectiveness. Manage cloud resource provisioning, monitoring, and optimization.Ensure compliance with security standards and regulations.Ensure compliance with and participate in continuous improvement of organizational standards, practices and methodologiesDefine, track, measure and report on critical success factors and key performance indicatorsPartner for success across the Information Technology ecosystem and with business partners and suppliersEfficiently plan and manage projects and services budgets, according to enterprise investments and strategiesEnsure positive partnercustomer experience through satisfaction surveysProactively lead through organizational change QualificationsRequiredEducationBachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of experience, education and trainingExperience12+ years of wide-ranging and deep experience in core infrastructure technologies.5+ years of wide-ranging and deep experience in various cloud infrastructure services. Recognized track record for completing complex cross-functional projects in the cloud (AWSAzureGCP) utilizing a software defined Infrastructure-as-Code mindset.6+ years of direct leadership of teams, with responsibility for staff and budget. Strong leadership, coaching and mentoring skills. Proven experience transforming a large organization into cloud services, including people, process and technology. Experience must include evangelizing, governance, business case development and organizational change management.Proven experience leading the addition of automation services and creating self-serve services for clientProven experience of developing, articulating, and delivering against a technical roadmapProficiency in leading strategic sourcing teamsProficiency in cloud security Proven experience of leading teams in an agile environment Experience in solution architecture, program management, engineering, vendor management, project management and technical operations, specific to core infrastructure and cloud services.
