The ideal candidate will have a Minimum of 3-5 years of Corporate Aircraft Avionics experience. Shift: Weekend, Friday - Monday 6 am to 4:30 pm Compensation: $35 - $50hrPosition SummaryThe Aircraft Avionics Technician will be responsible for the efficient execution of the work scope and for the maintenance, preventive maintenance, and alterations performed under the authority of the Clay Lacy FAA Certificated Repair Station. ResponsibilitiesPerforms maintenance and alteration of articles as directedUses current, applicable technical dataAdheres to all company and OSHA regulated policies and proceduresMaintains outstanding attendance recordAdheres and promotes the Clay Lacy Vision, Mission and Values dailyMaintain proficiency with tools, techniques and acceptable practices used to perform maintenance and alteration dutiesDocumenting all work performed including references to technical data used on work order squawk form and other forms as requiredDocumenting all parts andor equipment removed from or installed on aircraft on the removal and installation formsEnsuring material has been properly received prior to installing on aircraftVerify material shelf life has not expired prior to useVerify calibrated tooling calibration due date and condition prior to useDocument identified discrepancies on Discrepancy Collection FormDo not deviate from technical data unless appropriate approvals are obtainedPromote an efficient and professional work environmentParticipates in Continuous Improvement projects as directedNeeds to be available to work different shifts and weekends as requestedAble to travel away from primary facility for training and work Perform other duties as assignedQualificationsEducationFCC License preferred.Airframe and Power Plant license preferred.ExperienceMinimum of 3-5 years of Military Avionics experience or 3-5 years of Corporate Aircraft Avionics experienceSkills and AbilitiesAbility to prioritize and organize work flowExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAble to multi-taskKnown for working well with all levels of managers, staff, clients and vendorsAble to handle sensitive documents in a very confidential mannerDemonstrated analytical and critical thinking skillsAble to take initiative and execute assigned tasks in a timely and flawless mannerStrong teamwork acumen with a profound ability to work under extreme pressureStrong passion for working in a fast paced and result oriented environmentExceptional interpersonal skillsCommitted to provide excellent customer service all timesBenefits We are committed to supporting employees in their adoption of a healthier and more active lifestyle.
