Job DescriptionDescription of the RoleWe are currently seeking reliable and experienced Drivers to join our team at ATC Nassau County. As a Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and passengers to their destinations. Position also requires DSPParaprofessional services. Full-time and Part-time needs. ResponsibilitiesOperate various vehicles, including cars and vans, to transport goods and passengersEnsure the safe and efficient delivery of goods and passengersLoad and unload cargo as requiredAdhere to all traffic laws and regulationsMaintain a clean and well-organized vehicleAssisting and providing in-classroom support for studentsCollect data such as goals, outings, and progress plete all required training and attend staff plete incident reports as necessaryPerform other DSP functions daily, including providing paraprofessional coverage in classroom RequirementsValid driver's license with a clean driving record.Prior experience as a driverExcellent knowledge of traffic laws and regulationsAbility to lift heavy objects and loadunload cargoStrong communication and interpersonal skillsParaProfessional (DSP) qualifications and experience including:AMAP and SCIP certified are preferred.6 months or more of caregiving experienceExperience with people with intellectual and developmental disabilities preferred.BenefitsCompetitive compensation: $18 per hourOpportunity for professional development and growthComprehensive health and retirement benefitsPositive and supportive work environmentAbout the CompanyATC Nassau County is a leading staffing company based in Nassau County, New York.
