Manager, Continuous Improvement WH Optimization

DescriptionOps Performance and Development Manager - Warehouse The selected candidate for this role will be responsible for process improvements and scheduling in FreshDirect's Operations Lead the development and implementation of strategies to optimize warehouse space utilization and efficiency. Utilize SAP and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to streamline processes and improve operational performance. Conduct data analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement within warehouse operations. Define and maintain Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure operational performance and track progress towards goals. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute initiatives aimed at improving workflow, inventory management, and order fulfillment processes. Provide leadership and guidance to warehouse staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability. Develop and deliver training programs to ensure employees are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles. Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in warehouse management and operations. Act as a liaison between operations, IT, and other departments to drive alignment and facilitate effective communication. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering or related field 4+ years' experience in operations, logistics, warehousing or manufacturing 3+ years' experience in data analysis and SQL Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree in industrial engineering or related field Experience working in a union environment Experience working with an automated system.
