Job Description:Pest Control Field SupervisorLocation: New York City (office in Manhattan)Pay: $65,000 - $70,000 (dependent upon experience)JP McHale Pest Management LLC, an Anticimex Company, is one of the top professional pest control companies nationwide.The Pest Control Field Supervisor in New York City is responsible for leading and managing a team of field technicians with the goal of delivery an exceptional customer experience. The Pest Control Field Supervisor owns all aspects of service required of the New York City Branch. The Pest Control Field Supervisor will be responsible for a service team consisting of about 10+ field technicians. All aspects related to field technicians completing their jobs in a high manner will fall under the auspices of the Field Supervisor.The Pest Control Field Supervisor will manage a team of Pest Control Technicians and will report to the New York City Branch Manager.Position ResponsibilitiesRecruit, hire, train, coach, motivate, and lead a service team of technicians to provide exceptional service to customersIdentifyimplement scheduling to ensure adequate coverage for peak volume periodsEfficiently schedule routes for field techniciansRoute Optimization managed daily yielding a 70+% tech utilizationAppropriately Performance Manage service team employeesLead regularly scheduled meeting with service team, ask questions to better understand the customer visits field technicians are experiencing, educate and coach workers regarding processes and practices, and explain expectations to employeesRespond to field service technician questions, coaching the team through difficult client situations and diffuse upset clients, as neededEnsure team members are achieving desired Key Performance Indicators and take corrective action, as needed such as: Tech Utilization, Tech Efficiency, Customer NPS and Customer RetentionEnsure technicians adhere to company and OSHAFIFA policies and procedures when carrying out pest control servicesDEC liaison ensuring proper compliance and technician certificationsCommunicate with customers to ensure satisfaction and discuss additional services that customers may be appropriateBuild long-term relationships with customers from a wide range of backgrounds to tailor solution to meet their needsProduct selection for required treatmentsEfficient use of company materials minimizing use and maximizing material usage under 5% of revenueProper material pick-up & discarding of used materialsPosition RequirementsMust have a valid 7F Pesticide License (NY)3-5 years' experience managing a field teamValid Driver's LicenseRead, write, and speak EnglishStrong customer service orientation, with two plus years previous experience in a customer service roleAbility to use personal protective equipmentStrong attention to detail and organization skillsAbility to perform physical aspects of role to include walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 poundsKnowledge of treeshrub treatment or pest control products and services a plusSuccessfully complete a background check and drug testAbility to work both indooroutdoor environments in all weather conditionsAbility to work extended hours as neededMust have at least 3 years of driving experience to drive a company vehicle.Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure, especially during peak hours or intense situationsDemonstrated experience in managing conflict with customersExceptional interpersonal, customer service, problem-solving, as well as verbal and written communication skillsStrong coaching and leadership skills, along with the ability to motivate employeesProficiency with necessary technology, including Microsoft Office SuiteHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredWhy work for JP McHale Pest Management?We offer:HEALTH BENEFITSMedical, dental and vision coverageCompany-paid life insuranceCompany-paid short-term disabilityOptional supplemental benefitsEnrollment eligibility begins first of the month following date of hireFINANCIAL ASSURANCE401(k) plan with company match of 4%Immediate enrollment eligibilityConvenient direct paycheck depositTeam Member reward and recognition programEmployee would be eligible for company bonus programsAND MOREEight (8) paid holidaysPaid time off eligibility begins the first day of employmentTeam Member referral bonusesOpportunities to participate in community eventsAt Anticimex, we are driven by our Purpose: To Prevent and Protect.
