Position Summary: Ensures accuracy, integrity and efficiency of Tessitura database, manages gift processing and coordinates acknowledgement process with gift officers; provides data segmentation to inform fundraising strategies, performs prospect research, manages monthly reconciliation process with the Accounting Team.Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Serves as database "power user" and expert on contributions, plans, constituent segmentation, and other non-ticketing Tessitura elements for the organization. Co-leads internal CAC Tessitura working group. In conjunction with the Database Management Specialist, creates and leads all Tessitura training and onboarding for all applicable staff. Processes complex and large-scale contributions and pledges promptly and accurately. Ensures accurate processing and timely acknowledgement by Development and Donor Relations Coordinator of all gifts received by CAC. Regularly reviews and revises Tessitura procedures to achieve optimum efficiency in support of development and membership functions. Implements maintenance and upgrades to database as necessary. Develops and oversees best practices process for recording, acknowledging and tracking donations received via mail, online and CAC store. Creates Tessitura Analytics reports and present them to the Development team, CAC leadership, and the Board of Directors as necessary. Provides segmented donor and prospect lists to inform strategies of membership and individual giving staff. Works with Accounting team to ensure accurate and timely reconciliation. Stays abreast of market to help identify wealth screening, data analytics and prospect research services for CAC. Works closely with VP of Development and Director of Major and Planned Giving to identify prospective donors. Performs prospect research utilizing wealth screening and online resources. Seeks out additional opportunities to develop knowledge in Tessitura system and shares knowledge and best practices with the Development team and CAC Tessitura working group. Staff development and CAC events as necessary (some weekend and evening availability expected)Performs other duties as assigned RequirementsEducation and Experience: Bachelors Degree required Strong attention to detail and excellent organization skills Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Expert in Tessitura with 3 to 5 years database management experience Proficient in Microsoft Office Salary Description $65K - $70K
