If you're ready to take your career to the next level and gain valuable experience, apply today!The primary role of the Senior Project Accountant will be to oversee all aspects of project accounting for PDS dental offices and PDS support centers. The Company is capital-intensive due to capital projects related to build-out of Denovo (new) offices and various support-center project initiatives. Strong interpersonal communication skills are required to communicate with several different support departments as well as technical accounting knowledge with regards to capitalization policies (internalsoftware capitalization, capitalized labor, etc).ResponsibilitiesOversee all financial transactions related capital projects through Oracle Projects moduleEngage project stakeholders and perform a thorough review of all requisitions ensure appropriate capitalization in accordance with GAAP and Company policyInteract with various departments to obtain a general understanding of all major capital projects and CIP and determine proper capitalization of long-term projects to ensure projects are viable and begin depreciation expense when placed in servicePrepare and present budget to actual analysis to various project stakeholdersCollaborate with program and project managers to address budgetary discrepancies or issuesMonitor capital projects and ensure proper cost accumulation and timely completion; ensure depreciation begins when assets are placed in servicesPrepare and present project tracking statuses quarterlyMaintain compliance with internal controls over project accountingWork directly with external auditors as needed and in a timely manner and provide all required supportIdentify, propose, and help implement process improvementsPerform other duties and responsibilities as assignedQualificationsBachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance is required in lieu of degree, 5+ years of related experience.6+ years of experience in related field, of those, 5+ years of relevant experience of full cycle accounting experience is requiredStrong understanding of GAAPStrong computer skills with competent knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel software applicationsPreferredExperience with Oracle Fusion is a plusCPA preferredKnowledgeSkillsAbilitiesAbility to multi-task effectively without compromising the quality of the workExcellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skillsDetail oriented, organized, process focused, problem solver, self-motivated, proactive, ambitious, customer service focusedKnowledge of ASC 350-40 Internal-Use SoftwareAbility to draw conclusions and make independent decisions with limited informationSelf-motivated, reliable individual capable of working independently as well as part of a teamAbility to respond to common inquiries from customers, staff, and vendorsAble to work in a fast-paced environmentAbility to communicate effectively and present information, both verbally and in writing, to management, clients and co-workersTeam player, strong work ethic, proactiveStrong computer skills with competent knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel software applicationsBenefitsMedical, dental, and vision insurancePaid time offTuition Reimbursement401KPaid time to volunteer in your local community Compensation Information $93,000.00-$117,000.00 Annually PDS Health is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
