Join our team and help us keep communities connected.Your OpportunityOur Dynamic New York City Civil team is looking for a Co-op intern for the 2025 Summer Term.Your Key Responsibilities Assist engineers in the preparation of contract documents and reports for a variety of civil engineering projects ranging from roadways, parks, recreational space, waterfront, ADA accessibility, and transit facilities. Responsibilities include computer-aided design and drafting, checking drawings and calculations, quantity take-offs, simple design calculations, and field inspections.Your Capabilities and CredentialsMinimum requirements include prior exposure to CAD Design programs (AutoCadMicrostation) and current good academic standing in an accredited engineering school. Past experience with Civil 3D andor Bentley InroadsOpenroads Designer is preferred. This opportunity is primarily open to candidates enrolled in colleges & universities with co-op programs as the position requires a 40hrweek commitment.Education and Experience Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelors or Masters Civil Engineering ProgramTypical office environment involves working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time. Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather. Summer Co-op Interns are expected to work 40hrsweek minimum in the office.
