The Assembler is primarily responsible for the assembly of several different water valves components using the appropriate assembly techniques with additional responsibility in secondary equipmentoperations.ResponsibilitiesAssembles Valves and subassemblies per work instructions.Test Valves per work instructions.Test accessories (motor actuators, cylinders, etc) as required by specification or special instructions.Perform necessary paperwork (labor tickets, inspection sheets, etc)Demonstrates ability to meet production standards on specific assignments within required time.Maintains good housekeeping and clean work areas in assigned space.Performs all assignments in accordance with safety specifications, instructions, and requirements.Responsible for safety and quality throughout productionResponsible for notifying a Production Lead or Supervisor when they step off the line to ensure safety and quality standards are maintained.Reports all production wasteissues to Production Lead or SupervisorPerforms other duties as required by Supervisor or ManagerFollows all company policies and procedures.QualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalentExperience working in a Manufacturing EnvironmentAbility to work in a fast paced environmentUnderstand plant safety guidelines and pass all required safety trainingMust be able to understand verbal and written instructionsTroubleshoot problems and report issuesMust work well in team environmentPhysical Requirements:Ability to be on feet up to 8-12 hours per shiftUse of hands and fingers to perform job functionAbility to stoop, kneel, bend and climbAbility to lift up to 50lbsBenefitsHealth InsuranceDental InsuranceVision InsuranceCompany Paid Life InsuranceCompany Paid Shot-Term Disability401k MatchTuition Reimbursement10 Paid HolidaysPTOFree Uniforms with laundry service$2000 Retention BonusEmployee Referral ProgramShift PremiumSafety equipment reimbursementPay $20.00Val-MaticĀ® is an equal opportunity employer.
