This entry level intern will support a variety of robotics initiatives including design and development of 3D printed components, inventory and organization of work areas, supporting field deployments of robots, process documentation, and day-to-day support of various initiatives. The position reports to the Robotics Lead in the Research and Development team and will be mentored managed on a day-to-day basis by multiple members of the R&D team.ResponsibilitiesSupporting regular field deployments of robotics on jobsitesDay-to-day support of robotics and initiativesDesign and development of components including 3D printed partsConducting inventory and organization of work areasCreate and maintain documentation as it relates to different processesParticipate and provide meaningful input in departmental meetingsQualificationsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to analyze data to obtain meaningful resultsFamiliar with and 3D CAD software and 3D printingAbility to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly languageHighly self-motivated and directedProven analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environmentKnowledge of MS Office suiteExtensive experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environmentHITT Contracting, Inc. is committed to creating a diverse and inclusive environment.
